Hello

Welcome

The United States of America is facing many challenges today: from economic and international policies to secular and spiritual differences, as well as several social issues. The truth is, God must show us the way forward. And this can be found in simple life-changing prayer.

Won't you pledge to join us in daily prayer?

Today's Message

What is the GAPP about?

  • The United States of America is in real trouble. Freedoms are a gift from God. When the people of God slowly turn away and become seemingly indifferent to God and the principles He has provided for us in His Word, then God slowly backs away as well. We can see this happening in our nation today as evidenced by all the social problems, the significant financial issues we are facing, the international agreements that give away our national sovereignty, the political and religious upheaval that has become so prevalent, the racial discord, the general dislike of our nation by its own citizens, and the indecency that we see one to another. It is clear that the people of God have drifted away from the principles of prayer, righteousness and right living before our Father in Heaven.

  • As an encouragement, at God's leading, The GAPP is calling the people of God back to prayer for our nation, our community, our churches and ourselves individually. The GAPP is not going to take sides. God is Holy. This means He is fully devoted to His own purposes. The GAPP wants to encourage the people of God to seek after God's purposes as well. Therefore, The GAPP will not take sides on issues.  That is for the church to show, and the Lord to impress on each individual heart as each person is willing to hear from God. Prayer increases our ability to hear from God.

  • With this in mind, The GAPP intends to encourage the people of God to pray by following the promises of 2 Chronicles 7:14.  That if the People of God will humble themselves and pray and seek God's face and turn from the sin that has slowly creeped into their lives, that God will hear from heaven, forgive sins and heal our nation. How about you?  As Joshua declared in Joshua 1:8, "As for me and my household, we will serve the LORD." Won't you, as one who belongs to the Lord, also commit yourself to His service by praying for your nation and your household?

"The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.."  James 5:16b NIV

2 Chronicles 7:14,

The personal application section of the daily devotional is intended to give the reader a chance to reflect in prayer on the Word of God, and allow the Lord to impress upon each reader based on where they are in their own walk with God.

The GAPP believes this can eventually help Heal our Nation.

"Encouraging Humility before God, Alignment with His will, and personal growth in Righteousness so we can BOLDLY pray for our Nation."
